The SafeandVaultStore depository safe FLH271414 with its 27 inches wide, allows for secure storage as well as plenty of room for daily drops. This extra wide "B" rated hopper safe features a UL Listed Lagard Basic Digital Electronic Lock standard. This safe works well for most retail locations and we have priced it competitive to allow everyone to keep their drops secure during the day.
This large depository safe with hopper and 1/2" thick outer door as well as a digital electronic lock, has a large 4 1/4" x 9" x 5" hopper capacity drop which allows for those unusual sized drops such as rolled coins, lottery tickets and personal items. The construction design of the front load hopper prevents fishing of dropped items.
This extra wide "B" rated hopper safe is built with solid construction. The "B" rate means that the body is 3/16" plate steel and the door is a solid 1/2" thick.
Its solid "L" handle allows the large depository safe with hopper and 1/2" thick outer door to open easily and without difficulty. We have also included 4 anchoring holes (hardware not included) on the bottom for additional security. We recommend that ALL safes be anchored for the best security possible.
We have also added to the extra wide "B" rated hopper safe, two additional security features. An auto-detent & relocking device on the main door. This means that the bolts remain withdrawn while the door is open (saving costly repairs to realign the bolts). The relocking device allows the three massive horizontal bolts to engage when the door is closed. The door, on the hinge side, has a full length "dead" bar or an anti-pry bar that makes prying the door open on the hinge side very difficult.
While this safe is built with security in mind, we do not recommend storing large amounts of cash or other negotiable items overnight in the safe.
