Vaultek's latest product in the Essential Series line is the MXE High Capacity Rugged Pistol Safe. It has a large interior which can hold up to a total of 8 handguns. The outside body is tough and rugged with 14-gauge carbon steel construction. The door is made of 12-gauge and features a durable finish to prevent corrosion and ensure a long lifetime of use. 

The Vaultek MXE Essential Series High Capacity Rugged Pistol Safe has advanced anti-theft protection including anti-pry bars, dual anti-impact latches, and Impact Detection for the ultimate prevention against break-ins.

To get access to the inside of the Vaultek MXE Pistol Safe, there are 2 fast access points. One is an 8-digit backlit keypad and the other is to use the manual key. This will give you instant access to your valuables, documents and firearms. The door opens automatically and there is one pull out adjustable shelf to help organize everything inside.

The Vaultek MXE Essential Series uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery which provides power up to 5 months. It can charge quickly in 2.5 hours with the included micro-USB charging kit. The responsive LED lighting gives you a nice full view of your interior in the dark. The keypad is also backlit for those dark situations where you need to get access to your pistol in the event of an emergency.
