American Rebel's In-Swing Vault Door (AR-VI) is an 84.00" high by 42.00" wide door. It is designed to be installed as a storm shelter, bomb shelter or even a gun room. The door will swing inside the room in case debris falls in front of the door. This vault door is constructed in America. Homes with vault doors increase in value by 3.5" and return 84% of the original investment.
The security on the American Rebel AR-VI In-Swing Vault Door features an overall thickness of 4-1/2" double plate steel. The outer part of the door is 1/4" steel, the door frame is 1/4" thick and the inner plate is 12-gauge steel. There is 21 four-way active bolts (on all four sides of the door). The bolts are 1-1/2" diameter to prevent pry attacks to the door. The outside is protected by a Sargent and Greenleaf Spartan Digital Electronic Lock.
The fire rating on the American Rebel AR-VI In-Swing Vault Door is 75 minutes, tested at outside temperatures up to 1200 degrees F. Please note that this fire rating is only valid if the room it is being installed in meets this standard.
