The FireKing 6-2552-C Card-Check-Note File is the perfect size for all of those important files that are a lot smaller than your average size paper, this filing cabinet is designed to fit Legal pads, note cards and small to medium size file cards. Not only does it offer a great way to store your smaller sized documents in an organized fashion, but this filing cabinet is made by one of the industries leading manufacturers in top fire protection. In the event of a fire, your most valuable items can be trusted as the ideal way for businesses to protect their vital assets and keep their sensitive documents safe.
Fireking has a U.L. fire rating on the 6-2552 for one hour, which means it has he same fire resistance that other FireKing lateral fire file cabinets have. This cabinet was made with solid steel panels and fire insulation that protects each drawer. The insulation material was tested in extreme conditions to insure the heat resistance on the inside. The filing system was placed in a burn chamber that exceeded temperatures of up to 1700 degrees. The inside temperature never rose above 350 degrees which is more than sufficient for paper documents. To give you an idea of the level of protection paper will burst into flames at temperatures of 460 degrees and higher. That is superior fire protection.
