The UL Impact Rating means this product can survive a loaded fall of 30 feet and maintain fire protection. And FireKing’s steel lattice reinforcement offers this impact protection on all six sides.  Sprinklers and fire hoses often cause more damage than the fire itself and all FireKing files are designed to prevent water damage resulting from water sprinkler systems and fire hoses.  It has insulation between all drawers and high side drawer bodies that are for hanging files.  The Patriot Vertical Fireproof File Cabinet comes standard with a cam lock controlling two drawers. FireKing offers an asbestos-free, dry insulation. Unlike wet insulation, dry insulation will maintain protection properties for a lifetime, and completely eliminate corrosion.
