The construction of the SafeandVaultStore BD060610 is a 14 gauge body and a 12 gauge door. It has (2) 1/4" mounting holes on both sides and the top to secure to a solid surface. This is highly recommended so that someone does not walk away with the safe where they have all the time in the world to break into it. There is a piano hinged door for easy opening and closing. The cam lock keeps the door secure and comes standard with 3 keys. The drop slot is 1/2" high by 5-7/8" wide to fit cash drops, envelopes and checks.
