Schlage B562P 613 C Commercial Grade Double Cylinder Deadbolt - Oil Rubbed Bronze
The Schlage B562P commercial grade double cylinder deadbolt is an oil rubbed bronze (613) finish. This finish will match your existing hardware, but if it doesn't, we sell 4 B562P's in other finishes as well. The double cylinder function means that the deadbolt is thrown or retracted by a key from either side of the door. This allows control of who leaves or enters the premises and forces the use of a key. This deadbolt is part of the Schlage Commercial B-Series Collection.
The bolt on the Schlage B562P 613 double cylinder deadbolt is 10% larger than typical bolts for added security. It is also secure and features an integrated anti-pry shield behind the latch which prevents picking and holds the lock securely in place for easy installation. The thicker metal security strike backup on the jamb side has a third screw inside the cup for deeper anchoring into the door. It also features a solid hardened steel pin inside that spins in response to a sawing attack and cannot be cut through. If you are concerned about which backset to choose, this latch is a dual backset latch, adjustable to 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backsets.
The keyway on the Schlage B562P 613 deadbolt is a Schlage "C" keyway.
